Secretary (DARE) & Director General (ICAR) released products developed under CRP on Natural Fibre undertaken by ICAR-CSWRI, Avikanagar

Dr. Himanshu Pathak Secretary (DARE) & Director General (ICAR) released the newly developed BM wool camel(single hump) blended (70:30) light weight Jacket developed under CRP on Natural Fibre Project undertaken by ICAR-CSWRI, Avikanar during 27th Regional Committee Meeting VI held on 03rd Nov. 2023 at Avikanagar. Another product developed under the same project viz. Bharat Merino and double hump Camel Shawl (30:70) also popularized during the meeting as memento for dignitaries.

CRP on Natural Fibre (CRP-NF) is one of the platform projects approved under Agri-CRP by ICAR. ICAR-Central Institute for Research on Cotton Technology, Mumbai has been entrusted as Nodal Centre for executing CRP-NF project due to its vast experience and significant achievements in the research on natural fibres.
