Professional Societies
ICAR-CIRCOT is home to two Professional Societies in the field of textiles and cotton improvement.
is a registered society of textile professionals with its registered office at ICAR-CIRCOT, Mumbai. The Society aims at promoting exchange of information in the field of textiles and related areas. IFS has about 250 scientists and technocrats as its life members members. It has seven institutional members. The Society has been registered under Society’s Registration Act 1860 and Bombay Charitable Trust Act 1950.
