ICAR-CIRCOT Participated in Prime Minister Program on “Climate resilient Agriculture” on 28 Sept’ 2021 And Organized Scientists-Farmers Interface Meet on “Climate Resilient Cotton Technologies” at Ginning Training Center (GTC), Nagpur under 11th DARE-ICAR

ICAR- Central Institute for Research on Cotton Technology, Mumbai with its Ginning Training Center at Nagpur and Regional Units located at Surat, Guntur, Sirsa, Dharwad and Coimbatore participated in Prime Minister – Farmers Interaction program on “Climate resilient Agriculture” on 28 September 2021. More than 100 staff members of the institute including Head Quarter at Mumbai and its regional units enjoyed the event in hybrid mode.

On this occasion, arrangements were made by Dr. S.K.Shukla, Principal Scientist & In charge, Ginning Training Center (GTC), Nagpur to watch live the address by the Prime Minister for the farmers. The special guests for the program viz. Dr. Phundan Singh, former Director, ICAR-CICR, Nagpur and Mr. G. H. Vairale, former General Manager, MSCGGMF, Nagpur and Mrs. Shobha Kautkar, City President, Mohapa, Taluka: Kalmeshwar had a conversation with the farmers regarding different climate resilient cotton technologies. About 100 farmers participated in this program.
