ICAR-CIRCOT organized Training on “Capacity building Programme for Technical, Administrative and Supporting Staff” during February 16-18, 2022

ICAR-CIRCOT organized a three day training programme on “Capacity building Programme for Technical, Administrative and Supporting Staffs” during February 16-18, 2022 in Hybrid mode (both online and offline, following necessary COVID safety protocols) to impart soft skills to the Technical, Administrative and Supporting staff of the institute,. The training programme was attended by 27 officials from Head Quarters, 2 officials from Ginning Training Centre, Nagpur and one officials each from Quality evaluation units at Surat, Dharwad and Coimbatore. The training programme consisted of sessions on Health Management in COVID Pandemic situation, Positive Thinking & Developing with the Organisation and Team work and Co-operation.

It was inaugurated on 16th Feb, 2022 by Dr. Sujata Saxena, Director, ICAR-CIRCOT, Mumbai. She welcomed the participants and Dr. Rajendra Trivedi, Physician, Mumbai and resource person of the day. She emphasised upon the importance of training in development and performance improvement of the staff and congratulated Dr. T. Senthilkumar, Scientist & HRD Nodal officer of the Institute for designing a holistic training programme for the staff. Dr. Rajendra Trivedi explained about general health management techniques and precaution measures to be taken during COVID Pandemic situation. On 2nd day, Shri. Arun Naik, (Psychologist), Thane, taught the participants about Positive Thinking & Developing with the Organisation and elaborated various techniques for positive thinking. On 18th Feb, 2022, the final day of the training, Shri. Deepak Omkar, Training Consultant, Mumbai, talked about the importance of Team work in work place to the participants with practical team building activities. It was followed by the valedictory session chaired by Dr. Sujata Saxena, Director, ICAR-CIRCOT where participants shared their feedback and received the certificates.
