ICAR-CIRCOT, Mumbai organized CRP on Natural Fibre Internal Review Meeting on 2 August, 2023

ICAR-CIRCOT is the lead centre for implementing the Consortia Research Platform on Natural fibres. The platform consists of ICAR-CIRCOT, Mumbai, ICAR-NINFET, Kolkata, ICAR-CSWRI, Avikanagar and TNAU-Coimbatore. A review meeting was organized in online mode on 2nd August 2023 under the chairmanship of Dr. S. K.Shukla, Director, ICAR-CIRCOT and Nodal officer of the project in which progress of the project was presented by Principal investigators and Co.PIs. Dr. D.B. Shakyawar, Director, ICAR-NINFET, Kolkata attended the meeting as an expert. During the meeting, Dr.S.K. Shukla stressed the need for timely completion of envisaged activities of the projects and wherever possible the technologies developed should be transferred to the stakeholders on priority. He observed that the overall progress of the different projects is satisfactory. The meeting ended with the vote of thanks by Dr A S M Raja, Lead Centre Project Coordinator of the project.
