Hindi workshop organized at ICAR-CIRCOT, Mumbai

A Hindi workshop on “Why and how to work in Hindi” was organized at ICAR-CIRCOT, Mumbai on June 09, 2022. Mrs. Seema Chopra, Director (Official Language), ICAR was invited as a lecturer.

The Director of the Institute, Dr. (Mrs.) Sujata Saxena, in her welcome address, informed briefly about the implementation of Official Language in the Institute. Smt. Seema Chopra congratulated the Director and all the employees for receiving the Official Language Shield and Citation by City Official Language Implementation Committee, Mumbai for doing remarkable work in the Official Language implementation in the Institute for the year 2021. She also praised the quantity and quality of Hindi implementation and translation work being done in the institute. In the lecture, the Director (Official Language) said that Hindi language is the official language of India. Like English language, Hindi language is speedily moving towards becoming a new communication language at international level. In her brilliant presentation, she explained in detail the rules of official language implementation, ease of Unicode, online facility for translation, etc. ‘Amber-2021’; the annual house magazine of the institute was released by hands of Mrs. Seema Chopra, Director (Official Language). The workshop was attended by 110 employees in hybrid mode from ICAR-CIRCOT headquarters, Ginning Training Center, Nagpur as well as regional units of the Institute.
