Technologies and value-added products of ICAR-CIRCOT, Mumbai exhibited in 108th Indian Science Congress held at RTMNU, Nagpur during January 03-07, 2023.

ICAR-Central Institute for Research on Cotton Technology (CIRCOT), Mumbai participated in the stall exhibition titled “Pride of India” Mega Expo in 108th Indian Science Congress – 2023 (“Science and Technology for sustainable development with women empowerment”) held in Nagpur during January 03-07, 2023. Honourable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated and addressed the 108th ISC via video conferencing on January 03, 2023. Addressing the gathering, Prime Minister highlighted the role of India’s scientific strength in India’s story of development over the next 25 years. He also mentioned about the abundant availability of data and technology in 21st – century India and said that it has the potential to take Indian Science to new heights. Prime Minister also remarked that wither traditional knowledge or modern technology, each one plays a crucial role in scientific discovery.

During the exhibition, various technologies and value-added products developed by ICAR-CIRCOT along with different start-ups incubated at CIRCOT RKVY RAFTAAR ABI, were displayed. The stall was visited by farmers, industries, students etc. and were enlightened about the ICAR-CIRCOT technologies in the cotton sector.
