Jute Based Bio-composites
- DREF friction spinning process was used for the preparation of jute reinforced polypropylene composite (Jute core polypropylene wrapped yarns).
- The composite formed had good distribution of reinforcement material.
- The tensile strength of composite material increased with jute reinforcement.
- These types of composites can be used as an alternative to plastics, especially for high strength applications
