Inauguration of 2 months Agripreneurship Orientation Program (AOP) and Startup Agri Incubation Program (SAIP) of CIRCOT RKVY RAFTAAR ABI at ICAR-CIRCOT, Mumbai on Dec 23, 2022

Two months Agripreneurship Orientation Program (AOP) and Startup Agri Incubation Program (SAIP) of CIRCOT RKVY RAFTAAR ABI has been inaugurated at ICAR-CIRCOT, Mumbai on 23 rd December 2022 under the Chairmanship of Dr S K Shukla, Director, ICAR CIRCOT, Mumbai.

The function was attended by Fifteen (15) Agri startups selected for AOP and SAIP, RAFTAAR Incubation committee members (RIC) and CIRCOT R-ABI team. During this program the selected startups introduced their innovation and expressed their sincere thanks to CIRCOT for their selection. RIC members during their remark emphasized on the sustainability of their agri startup business and their product and also more employment generation and farmers’ benefit.

Dr S K Shukla, Director, ICAR CIRCOT in his inaugural address mentioned how CIRCOT is promoting the agri startups in various platforms like exhibitions, seminars, symposia etc. He narrated how startups can make significant contribution to Indian economy. He advised the agri startups to be focused on refinement of their innovation to improve the commercial viability of product during the two months period to get full funding of RKVY RAFTAAR scheme. He wished all the selected startups all the success.
