ICAR-CIRCOT Organized Training on ‘Composite Materials’ from Feb 7-9, 2023.

ICAR-CIRCOT organized a three-days training programme on ‘Composite Materials’ during February 7-9, 2023. The programme is self-financed and was attended by 15 participants comprising faculties, research scholars and students from various academic institutions across the country. The training course covered the aspects of basics and advances of Fibre-reinforced composite production, invited lectures from expert members, besides a visit to Indian Rubber Manufactures Research Association (IRMRA), Thane, Mumbai, to explore the rubber composite production and characterization techniques.

Shri. Suresh Kotak, Chairman, Kotak Group of Companies & Chairman of Textile Advisory Group (TAG), presided over the valedictory function in the presence of Dr A.J Shaikh, Former Director, ICAR-CIRCOT. Dr. S.K. Shukla, Director, ICAR-CIRCOT welcomed the gathering and interacted with the trainees for their feedback. Dr T. Senthilkumar, Senior Scientist and Training Coordinator, briefed about the training programme In his valedictory address Shri. Suresh Kotak emphasizes the current scenario of composite materials and their potential in Business development. The certificates were distributed to the participants.
