Hon’ble Padma Bhushan Dr. R. S. Paroda, Former Secretary (DARE) & Director General (ICAR), New Delhi visits Ginning Training Centre, ICAR-CIRCOT, Nagpur

Hon’ble Padma Bhushan Dr. R. S. Paroda, Former Secretary (DARE) & DG (ICAR), New Delhi visited Ginning Training Centre (GTC) of ICAR-CIRCOT, Nagpur on April 01, 2024. Dr. Paroda was accompanied by Dr. Y.G. Prasad, Director, ICAR-CICR, Nagpur, Dr. N.G. Patil, Director, ICAR-NBSS&LUP, Nagpur.

Dr. S. K. Shukla, Director, ICAR-CIRCOT, Mumbai welcomed the Guests, Dr. R.S. Paroda and Directors of ICAR-CICR and ICAR-NBSS&LUP by offering flower of bouquets. Dr Shukla explained the activities of GTC and demonstrated the Ginning and Fibre Testing Facilities to the dignitaries. Dr. Paroda discussed in detail about various Ginning technologies and their applications in ginning of cotton.

Dr. K. Pandiyan, Senior Scientist & Officer In-Charge, GTC, Nagpur made brief presentation about various activities undertaken at GTC, Nagpur and its accomplishments pertaining to research, training, and testing services. Dr. Paroda interacted with all GTC staff and congratulated for their achievements. Further he extended his warm wishes for further success in this endeavour and bring more laurels to the institute under the leadership of Dr. Shukla.
