Promoting Soil Health Management and Balanced Fertilizer Use in the MGMG adopted villages

A farmers’ awareness programme was organized by ICAR-CIRCOT under the MGMG initiative on 21 April 2026 at Savandri village, Kalmeshwar (Nagpur), to promote Soil Health Management and Balanced Fertilizer Use. The programme focused on crop residue management and the use of biochar and compost to improve soil organic matter content for enhancing soil health. The programme was attended by 25 farmers (13 female and 12 male).
