As part of the ongoing Jan Jatiya Gaurav Varsh Pakhwada for commemoration of the 150th Birth Anniversary of Bagwan Birsa Munda, an exhibition showcasing a diverse range of tribal products was organized at ICAR-CIRCOT, Mumbai on 14th November 2025. The exhibition showcased a rich array of traditional crafts, handmade bags, artefacts, indigenous food products, and several innovative items created by tribal artisans, reflecting their creativity, skill, and deep cultural heritage.
The event was inaugurated by Dr. S. K. Shukla, Director, ICAR-CIRCOT, who appreciated the creativity, craftsmanship, and cultural richness reflected in the exhibits. He highlighted the importance of promoting tribal entrepreneurship and creating market linkages to support livelihood opportunities for tribal communities.
Staff members, students, and visitors actively participated in the exhibition and purchased the products. The event served as a platform to raise awareness about tribal heritage and encourage wider recognition of indigenous skills and sustainable products.
