Ginning Training Centre of CIRCOT located in Nagpur, Maharashtra is a unique and only one research and training centre of its kind in Asia. This centre imparts theoretical and practical training on Double Roller Ginning Technology, Fibre Quality Evaluation and by-product utilization of cotton and cotton stalks for gin owners, managers, supervisors, fitters etc. This Centre has so far trained more than 5000 trainees from across most part of our country covering personals from ginneries, organizations like The CCI, MSCCGMF Ltd., seed industries like Ankur Seeds, cotton breeders, etc. This centre has played a pivotal role in modernization of Indian Ginning Industry and has pioneered the development of many essential and basic machines required for ginning industry like cylinder cleaner, auto-grooving machine, axial flow cleaner, barcoding and RFID tagging systems, etc.

GTC, Nagpur is equiped with all popular models and makes of ginning and pressing machines, including a modern roller and saw ginning plant, Cotton-seed Processing Plant and Rotobar Ginning Technology of M/s. Lummus, USA.. Moreover, this centre houses a demonstration plant for Particle Board Preparation from Cotton Stalk.  The GTC also houses a state of art fibre quality evaluation laboratory with latest HVI and HVT to test fibre quality of cotton.
