The objective of the Internal Committee is to take consistent action for prevention, prohibition and redressal of complaints received regarding sexual harassment and gender discrimination of women personnel at the workplace. The term of the committee is of 3 years. The Committee organizes meetings at regular intervals and at times as per immediate requirement of the complaint.
Internal Committees are working in the Headquarters of the institute at Matunga and Ginning Training Center, Nagpur.

Powers and Duties of Internal Committee:
Internal Committee takes action in the purview of the guidelines received from time to time from New Delhi and performs preliminary inquiry reporting to The Competent Authority on complaints received regarding sexual harassment and gender discrimination of women personnel at the Institute.
Internal Committee takes efforts to maintain gender parity, sexual harassment-free and positive environment at the workplace. It conducts awareness drive through display of women welfare & anti-sexual harassment policies and other appropriate documents, workshops, posters, speeches by experts etc. to have an encouraging and dignified surrounding to work in for women personnel.
