ICAR-CIRCOT Observes Vigilance Awareness Week 2022 and arranges three-month Campaign for Preventive Vigilance cum Internal Housekeeping activities.

To increase the public awareness about the perils of corruption, Vigilance Awareness Week was observed from 31st October to 6th November 2022 with the theme, “Corruption free India for a developed Nation”. On 31st October 2022, the “Integrity Pledge” was administered to all staff members of the Institute by Dr. Sujata Saxena, Director In-charge.

On 7th November 2022, a lecture by Shri. Divyanshu Dagar, Police Inspector, CBI, Anti-Corruption Branch, Mumbai was arranged to create awareness among the staff members of the Institute regarding the types and nature of corruption and the means to have an end to corruption to make India a developed nation. On this occasion, Dr. S. K. Shukla, Director, ICAR-CIRCOT welcomed the gathering and sensitized the staff members about the requirement for bringing discipline in routine activities to achieve excellence in all spheres of life. Dr. N. Vigneshwaran, Vigilance Officer of the Institute presented the activities being carried out by the Vigilance section during the Vigilance Awareness Week and the three-month campaign for Preventive Vigilance cum Internal Housekeeping activities. Smt. T. P. Mokal, Assistant Administrative Officer introduced the Chief Guest, Shri. B.R. Pawar, Chief Technical Officer compered the programme and Shri. S. V. Kokane, Assistant Chief Technical Officer presented the vote of thanks.
